I currently work as an Analyst at Deutsche Bank - the 8th largest Bank in Europe and the largest in its home market i.e Germany. Part of the Chief Risk Office as a data scientist working on Bayesian Networks to predict an expected loss (Non Financial Risk) based on “structured scenarios”.
Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, I was a Founding Member at Verak Insurance (a YC W21 company) which was acquired by InsuranceDekho in April 2023. We had raised ~$1.85M from Lightspeed India Partners & Sequoia Capital India.
Post the acquisition I briefly joined InsuranceDekho as a Consultant, setting up the knowledge transfer for our Premium Pricing and Policy Generation Algorithms.
Outside of work, I am a professional Snooker and Billiards player having played multiple state / All India snooker tournaments right from the Sub-Junior to the Senior level. I spend time with my family in Mumbai & a few close friends.
I graduated with a degree in Computer Science from the University of Mumbai in 2023 - I fell in love with finance and human psychology which I believe hold the keys to making a significant impact on the world.
